What an actioned packed two and a half months !

The new year started off with all existing Lindy Hoppers eager to dance and resume classes.

Southbank contacted Swing Tuit asking if we could teach dance classes on Sunday afternoons in February at the Formal Garden Green. The classes grew in size each week, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The guest band for February was "Swing Central".

Stacey and Jamie announced that their new swing band "Swinging Miss B and the Brand New Sweeties" would be making their debut at the "Basement" night club at the Hilton on March 6^th.

Andrew Vassiliou from Singapore, taught two workshops on the 27^th February and the 6^th of March at Moorooka Bowls Club. He also taught our Wednesday night class on the 3^rd of March, the Saturday night class at the Hilton and the two classes at Southbank on Sunday the 7^th of March.

"The Band from Organ" were swinging up a storm at the Press Club in Fortitude Valley on Sunday nights.

Swing Tuit were asked to extend their teaching at Southbank on Sunday afternoons to include the month of March this time teaching in the Piazza, with "Swinging Miss B and The Brand New Sweeties" as the guest band for March 7 and 21 and Swing Central for March 14 and 28.

Swing Tuit’s very own Martin Chilvers is currently in the United States and was asked to teach a Lindy Hop Intermediate Workshop in Austin, Texas. He will also be attending other workshops and classes whilst there. Unfortunately for Swing Tuit, Martin will only be returning to us for a short time before he moves to the States for an exciting new job. We wish him every success and are sure that one way or another we will see him during the year.
